Privacy Policy

Version française

Effective date: 29 September 2026. The data controller is Monocursive, 20 rue du Président Krüger, 69008 Lyon, France (“we”, “us”). Contact: contact@hubfluencer.com.

What we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, password (stored hashed), and the settings you choose.
  • Content you submit to the cloud service: briefs, prompts, uploads, product pages you ask us to read, and the projects generated from them. Work you do locally in Hubfluencer Studio stays on your Mac unless you send it to the cloud (for example an upload, a review link, or a paid generation).
  • Purchase data: what you bought, when, the amount and currency paid, the email address used at checkout, and the payment identifiers the seller gives us (see “Payments” below), plus the balance history of your account. We never see or store your card details.
  • Studio Licence data: the purchase email, licence identifier, update-window dates, the Hubfluencer account the licence is linked to (if any), and whether the licence has been refunded, charged back, or renewed.
  • Studio licence check: when you add a licence key to Studio, and periodically after that, Studio sends us the licence key, a salted machine identifier, and the Studio version. The machine identifier is a one-way hash of your Mac’s hardware identifier combined with your licence; the hardware identifier itself never leaves your Mac. We use this to tell Studio whether the licence is still valid (for example after a refund or a renewal) and to count the Macs using each licence. Your licence key itself embeds your purchase email so the app can show who it is licensed to.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and similar request metadata; privacy-respecting, cookie-less aggregate analytics on this website (Umami); product analytics in the web and mobile apps (PostHog, EU-hosted); and error reports (Sentry). Licence purchase pages (hubfluencer.com/buy/studio and app.hubfluencer.com/buy, including the purchase confirmation and licence recovery pages) run neither Umami nor PostHog, and checkout identifiers are removed from error reports. We use no advertising pixels or trackers.

Why we process it (legal bases)

  • To provide the services you asked for — accounts, generation, rendering, licence issuance and delivery (performance of a contract).
  • To operate AI features: prompts and content you submit are processed by our AI providers (OpenAI, ElevenLabs, fal.ai, Replicate) solely to produce your requested output (performance of a contract).
  • To run, secure, and improve the services, prevent abuse, and enforce rate limits (legitimate interest).
  • To credit the balance a licence includes: if you bought a licence without being signed in, we compare your purchase email with the confirmed email addresses of Hubfluencer accounts and credit the matching account (performance of a contract). An unconfirmed email address is never matched.
  • To send transactional email — licence keys, receipts, account messages (performance of a contract); product news only with your consent, with an unsubscribe link in every such email.
  • To comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting record-keeping.

Who receives it

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with processors needed to run the services: RevenueCat (mobile purchase records), Fly.io (hosting), Cloudflare (delivery and storage), Resend (email), Umami (analytics), PostHog (product analytics, EU-hosted), Sentry (error monitoring), and the AI providers named above for the content you ask them to process. Some processors are in the United States; transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. We may disclose data if required by law.

The payment providers below are not our processors: they receive data as controllers under their own privacy policies.

Payments

Purchases made on the web or in Studio are sold through Link, operated by Stripe: Link is the seller (merchant of record) of the payment. Link and Stripe collect your payment details, billing information, and tax details directly, and process them as independent controllers under Stripe’s privacy policy, including for fraud prevention, tax, and their own legal obligations. They tell us what you bought, the email address used at checkout, the amount and currency paid, and the identifiers we need to deliver the purchase and to handle refunds and payment disputes. Purchases made in the mobile apps are sold by Apple or Google under their own terms and privacy policies. We never see or store your card details.

Crash reporting (Hubfluencer Studio)

If Hubfluencer Studio crashes on your Mac it can send us an anonymous crash report so we can find and fix the bug. A report contains the crash stack trace, the Studio version, your macOS version, and your Mac’s hardware model — nothing else.

We never send your screen recordings, screenshots, project content, your name or email address, or your licence key. A report carries no identifier that points back to you or to your account, and file paths inside it are stripped of your macOS user name, so we cannot link a crash to a person.

Crash reporting is on by default and you can turn it off at any time in Studio → Settings; switching it off stops reporting immediately and it stays off on later launches. Reports are processed on our behalf by Sentry, named among our processors above, and are kept only as long as we need them to diagnose and fix the crash.

Usage statistics (Hubfluencer Studio)

Hubfluencer Studio can share anonymous usage statistics so we can see which features are used — for example that a recording finished, an export completed, or an agent made an edit. This is off until you choose to share: Studio asks once, and you can change your answer at any time in Studio → Settings → Privacy.

Each statistic names the feature and at most a few fixed values (such as a recording-length range, whether a webcam was used, or which coding agent connected), plus the Studio and macOS versions, your language, and whether Studio is licensed. It never contains your recordings, projects, file names, prompts, account details, email address, or licence key.

If you choose to share when Studio first asks, it also counts how the welcome tour you had just seen ended (for example whether you opened the sample project or a licence checkout); if you decline, that is discarded.

Statistics are tied only to a random identifier created on your Mac when you opt in — not to your account or your hardware — and it is deleted when you switch sharing off, so a later opt-in cannot be linked to earlier statistics. They are processed on our behalf by PostHog in the EU with IP addresses discarded and no location lookup, on the basis of your consent.

Retention

Account and project data are kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised after account deletion, except where the law requires longer (for example ten years for French accounting records covering purchases). Licence records are kept for as long as the licence can be exercised, because a licence never expires.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to contact@hubfluencer.com or using the in-product account deletion. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr) or your local supervisory authority.

Cookies

We use cookies strictly necessary for sign-in and security, and a cookie that remembers your language. Our website analytics (Umami) use no cookies, and we set no advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; signed-in areas need the essential ones.

Changes

We will post any changes here with an updated effective date, and notify you of material changes by email or a prominent notice.
