What Studio does
Studio is a native, local-first macOS app. It records your real app, keeps every take on disk, and exposes the whole edit — cuts, zooms, captions, pacing, export — to the coding agent you already pay for.

Pick a display, a window, a region, or the iOS Simulator. Mic, camera, and input events land as separate tracks.

Claude Code or Codex works against the real timeline over ACP and proposes a first cut. Every change is an undoable revision you can inspect.

Landscape, vertical, HEVC, ProRes, GIF, SRT and VTT from one destination pick — rendered on your Mac, ready for the launch thread.
Zooms follow the cursor that actually moved, captions come from the words that were actually said, and every clip keeps its provenance. Nothing on screen is a hallucination of your product.
The Director, the command palette, and a bearer-gated localhost MCP server drive the same revision-checked tool registry — including capture. An agent can take a demo from “record this window” to a finished MP4; you approve before anything is spent.
Recording, trimming, transcription, captions, voice cleanup, cursor effects, auto-zoom, on-device voice synthesis, and export all run on your Mac. Nothing leaves it unless you ask.
Narration, an original score, or one generated establishing shot are optional round trips: each shows its credit cost and waits for your approval. Editing itself is never metered.
